Unfortunately we can not enjoy fresh artichoke in Sweden until the late summer. However, the artichoke can be enjoyed all year round. Depending on what you do with it, it can fit in just about anywhere on your menu. Marinated on a salad buffet, puréed into a dip, or fried with butter with nice steak. Menigo's pickled artichokes are from Alicante in Spain where artichoke like wine has a protected designation of origin. Alicante is considered to have the best weather conditions for artichoke.

Pickle without vinegar
Nowadays, we pickle all kinds of food, and pickled artichoke is no news. But you don’t have to use vinegar every time. Our own sweet artichoke come in a neutral salt layer. Simply add an acid when serving, for example lemon.
